Java/Flex Developer Senior

Kraków * Under general direction, develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity;
* Has excellent understanding of business application;
* Has excellent understanding of graphical user interface software;
* Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them;
* Works with business analyst and other team members to solve business problems using modern GUI technologies;
* Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements;
* May assist in development of software technical documentation;
* Demonstrates software. Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions;
* Designs and codes complex applications using advanced technology;
* May create optimization programs to resolve problems;
* May design and build prototype applications.

Requisiti desiderati

* Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, including 1 year of experience in Flex and 3 years of experience in Java
* At least 1 year of experience with web development (including web services)
* Knowledge and practical experience of XML, XML Schema and other XML related stand
* Knowledge of one of Java Web Services Frameworks would be a plus;
* Agile development process knowledge is desired;
* Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal;
* Initiative, ability to work independently;
* Team working skills.
